Introduction

A very well appointed large holiday villa in Bordezac, South Of France just North of Ales (25mins) and Nimes (55 mins). Sleeping 8 guests in 5 double bedrooms the villa is set deep in nature the busy town of Besseges is only five minutes away by car. The property sits neatly in the middle of most attractions and if you can manage to leave the large pool you can visit many places.

Mas Nicolas is special because set in the foothills of the Cevenne National Park, you will amongst the nature find total peace and relaxation.

Set in its own gated and fenced totally private grounds of 5800 sqms, with nothing overlooking it. The entrance to the house is reached from a 'dead end' private road with no traffic except that coming or going from the few houses nearby. The other local houses are within walking distance.

The nearest main town is Besseges (about 5km), which has all types of shops. Locally is it possible to enoy many sports, such as horse riding, swimming and canoeing in the lovely rivers, fishing, rock climbing and sky diving.  

The entrance to Mas Nicolas from the private road. The Villa can be seen far back in between the trees. This is total privacy and quietness there is absolutley no noise from traffic or anything else, except the birds and the cicadas and possibly the children if you have brought them with you.

The Villa inside ( brief desciption)

There are five large double bedrooms. We say only 8 guests because, even though it is a big house, inside over 200sq mtrs it is far , it more enjoyable when there is a big feeling of space and we prefer to rent it underoccupied. .

There is, adjoining the new kitchen, a large family eating area seating 8. There are two sets of double doors opening, from the kitchen and the dining area, onto the veranda, which overlooks the garden. Here there is another table seating 8.

The lounge has a feature fireplace, only useful for cosy winter nights. From the top floor of the lounge you have access to a private sun terrace overlooking the rear garden and hills.

In the villa there are two toilets, one downstairs and one upstairs. One new shower room upstairs, and one family bathroom, with a new Italian walk in shower and a bath.

Outside by the pool there is a very large private open shower and changing area, with umlimited hot water. There is another solar shower area by the pool for a quick rinse when getting in and out of the pool. 

The Swimming Pool and Grounds

The large swimming pool is 12m x 6m and unusually has a depth of 3m, at the deep end to allow diving. The pool is fitted  now with a sliding cover needed to fully meet the safety features to comply with French Laws. The cover can be locked and its impossible froo children to get inside.

Next to the pool is another table seating 8 it has a large sun umbrella. There are several deck chairs and sun loungers.

The extensive almost flat grounds include a private spring, as a consequence the villa has access to nearly unlimited water, useful for watering the fine olive trees and kiwi fruits which grow to excess in the garden.
