One of the reasons we love France is because of the fine food and wine at reasonable cost. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, you will find them by the road or in most villages and towns.

This year we have eaten many 4 course meals costing only 10 Euros. If you spend 20 you are going to have feast ! Red wine in this region is often served refreshingly cold and decent table wine is very inexpensive.

So far we have not had a bad meal at any restaurant so take your pick just by driving a few kilometers into any of the villages. One tip arrive early, or better still book, particularly for Sunday Lunch, because they do tend to be quickly full.
